La nostra astensione alle prossime elezioni non è una resa ma anzi
In merito alle prossimIn merito alle prossime elezioni amministrative il circolo “ENZO SIMEONE” del Partito della Rifondazione di Formia ha deciso per l’astensione. La motivazione di questa posizione ha origine nell’aver osservato l’impossibilità di creare una valida e credibile alternativa all’attuale panorama politico, capace di rendere concreti i punti programmatici distintivi della nostra azione politica, che, vogliamo ricordare, in questi anni è stata caratterizzata da una critica serrata nei confronti di chi ha trasformato l’amministrazione della città in occasione di saccheggio per sé e per i propri sodali. Una vera e propria guerra tra bande che ha umiliato l’intera collettività, ma non solo.
Le contraddizioni in seno alle maggioranze e alle minoranze sono state tante e tali da portare al collasso il sistema politico locale, e rendere ridicola l’azione politica del Partito Democratico, degli altalenanti civici e di Forza Italia; il cui unico frutto è stata la trasformazione della città in luogo dove sono stati continuamente lesi la dignità della rappresentanza politica e i diritti dei cittadini.
Riteniamo l’amministrazione elemento centrale del conflitto sociale nel sistema capitalista, ancora di più oggi che politiche economiche dominanti sono bloccate sul criterio del “pareggio di bilancio”, così da sottrarre al potere pubblico la sua funzione regolatrice allo scopo di lasciare spazio alle dinamiche di mercato, attraverso la privatizzazione dei servizi pubblici e del patrimonio pubblico, nonché alla dismissione di competenze economiche e sociali alla Pubblica Amministrazione. Così come è fondamentale nella lotta ai tentativi di infiltrazioni della criminalità organizzata, sempre pronta ad approfittare di qualche amministratore infedele per dare sfogo ai suoi istinti predatori.
I consiglieri comunali, che sono chiamati a svolgere un ruolo di controllo e proposta importante, negli ultimi anni si sono distinti solo per un anonimo traccheggiare oppure per un pendolare tra banchi di destra e sinistra. Anche perché eletti sulla base di un consenso “familiare” che è altro dall’idea politica che li dovrebbe distinguere. Anzi spesso, abdicando al loro ruolo pubblici amministratori, sono stati i carnefici delle vittime che avrebbero dovuto proteggere. Facendo scontare le conseguenze del “privato è bello” sulla pelle dei cittadini delle fasce più deboli, considerati dalla politica utili solo in campagna elettorale. Vedi il caso Acqualatina.
Per questo avremmo potuto stringere alleanze elettorali, ma non ce la siamo sentita di scendere a patti con quanti negli ultimi anni hanno trasformato Formia in un mercato cinico e ipocrita. Preferiamo tenere quella dignità e quella credibilità che negli ultimi anni abbiamo conquistato.
Non è una resa, né un addio. Tutt’altro, siamo infatti consci delle sfide che ci attendono nei prossimi anni, e quindi non ci sottrarremo alla critica dell’amministrazione che in passato ha avuto più efficacia di quella di oscuri consiglieri che oggi hanno addirittura la faccia tosta di ripresentarsi.
D’altronde il putrido capitale come un moderno Dracula chiederà altro sangue ai lavoratori e noi saremo li a denunciare lo sfruttamento dell’uomo come del pubblico, secondo gli insegnamenti “comunisti” di Marx. Di certo non c’è futuro per la nostra città se la proposta delle liste di queste elezioni continua nel solco delle proposte degli ultimi vent’anni. Oggi scintillanti e innovative tra un mese saranno trite e ritrite.
Per cui non ci rimane che augurare alla città che l’impegno civico non si esaurisca con le imminenti elezioni comunali, ma sappia continuare anche dopo. Da parte nostra riprenderemo a lavorare per gettare le basi per la creazione di una sinistra veramente anticapitalista.
