Firma anche tu per il referendum per l’abolizione del vitalizio regionale
La campagna referendaria promossa da Rifondazione Comunista, insieme alle altre forze politiche che compongono la Federazione della Sinistra, per abrogare i vitalizi dei consiglieri e degli assessori regionali, a partire dalla vigente legislatura alla fine della legislatura, continua.
Nella sola città di Formia abbiamo la raggiunto oltre 150 firme, ma per poter essere chiamati alle urne e quindi cancellare questo vergognoso privilegio è necessario raccogliere 50mila firme, entro la metà di Settembre, in tutto il Lazio.
I cittadini che intendono firmare i due quesiti referendari, possono rivolgersi al responsabile dell’URP del Comune di Formia, il cui ufficio si trova al pian terreno del Palazzo Comunale in via Vitruvio, oppure recarsi domenica 12 agosto, dalle ore 17.00 alle ore 21.00, presso il gazebo che gli attivisti del nostro circolo allestiranno a piazza della Vittoria.
Per la sottoscrizione dei referendum è necessario presentarsi muniti di un documento di identità valido ed essere iscritti nelle liste elettori del comune di residenza, nel nostro caso Formia.
E’ utile fornire alcuni dati per convincere i cittadini della necessità della firma:
” In vitalizi, gli attuali consiglieri regionali costeranno ulteriori 4.500.000 euro annui, una volta raggiunta l’età per l’accesso al beneficio che è 50 anni. Questo costo si andrà ad aggiungere ai 17.000.000 di euro già spesi annualmente dal Consiglio regionale per i 221 ex consiglieri che attualmente ne usufruiscono. Solo in questa legislatura, sono 85 i consiglieri e gli assessori a cui viene operata la trattenuta per il cosiddetto “Fondo di Previdenza”, meglio conosciuto come vitalizio. Un’uscita che mensilmente costa al Consiglio Regionale 128.521 euro, per un importo annuo pari a euro 1.542.000, a cui si aggiunge il costo sopportato da questa istituzione per il pagamento del vitalizio agli ex consiglieri che godono già di tale privilegio, che ammonta a 1.218.000 euro al mese. Quindi, a partire dai 50 anni e per tutto il resto della loro vita, questi consiglieri percepiranno un vitalizio mensile di 4.400 euro per una sola legislatura, che potrà essere riversato – in caso di morte del beneficiario – alla moglie, oppure al figlio fino ai 26 anni, oppure al convivente”.
E’ necessario combattere l’impunità di una classe politica che è ormai prevarica ogni buon senso, tanto che qualche giorno fa la commissione bilancio della regione Lazio ha approvato un testo, presentato dalla giunta Polverini, che prevede anche indicizzazione annuale degli stipendi di consiglieri e assessori su variazione costo della vita.
Insomma la reintroduzione della “scala mobile”, ma solo per la casta, che se ne frega del disagio in cui vivono i strati più poveri della società, tant’è che dal 2013 graverà sulle nostre spalle un nuovo aumento dell’imposta regionale valutata in 500euro circa all’anno per il risanamento del debito della sanità.
Un ulteriore motivo per continuare a chiedere ai cittadini di aderire in massa alla nostra campagna referendaria.
Concludiamo con un invito all’amministrazione comunale di Formia ad aderire ufficialmente alla campagna referendaria contro i vitalizi dei consiglieri e degli assessori regionali, per dimostrare ai cittadini che anche a Formia si è capaci di dire no ai privilegi di una classe politica sempre più lontana dai bisogni reali dei cittadini. Almeno per questa volta.
